The character “El Super Beasto”is a wrestler who’s a legend in his own mind. He is a solid hunk of EGO, who’s main concern is how he is perceived by “his public”. I did these three experimental walk cycles ( which hook up to one another) with these thoughts in mind. The first of the three was used when he’s walking in to the strip club, and pointing to all his “adoring fans”. For the highly unusual second cycle, Director Doug Lawrence asked me to have him do a little dance move in which he (quote) “turns briefly in to something akin to soft-serve ice cream”. This was to exemplify just how smooth and sexy he was (in his own mind). The third part of the cycles is what we were calling the “Mussolini strut”, which was intended to be his standard walk.
